Questions people actually ask
- Is it priced per project or per user?
- Per company, with a block of seats and active-project allowance included. There is never a percentage of contract value. Extra seats beyond the included block start at $19.00 a month.
- Do homeowners and subcontractors need a seat?
- No. Client portal access runs on a link with no account, and subcontractors are records in your system rather than users. You pay for the people in your office and on your crews.
- What does annual billing actually change?
- One invoice a year instead of twelve, at a lower monthly rate. Nothing in the product is gated behind the annual term.
- What happens to my data if I leave?
- It stays yours. Projects, costs, logs, photos, and signed documents export in standard formats. Signed contracts and their audit trails are yours to keep — those are legal records, not a hostage.
- Do I need QuickBooks?
- No. The sync is there if you use it and reports honestly when it isn't connected — it never invents a reference to look successful. Job costing works fully on its own.
- Does the AI cost extra?
- AI is included on Growth and Scale with a monthly allowance. Every AI feature has a deterministic fallback, so a model outage or plan limit degrades to the rule-based version rather than a broken button.
